Hello
I'm planning to build a bathroom in the basement and want to lay isodrän in the floor and install water-based underfloor heating.
The interior walls have träullit.
The house is situated on rock more or less all around.
The basement is not drained.
The entire basement is about 40 sqm, and has a continuous wall in the middle.
I will build the bathroom on one part.
Questions:
Can I break up half the side without risk of collapse?
Should I remove the träullit before plastering/tiling?
Is it unnecessary to insulate the floor since I won't be able to drain the outside directly?
Parts of the house are "blasted" into the rock, so it might be difficult to drain the outside 100%, what should be done then?
Could there be moisture problems if only half the side has isodrän in the floor?
Any other tips?
Thank you in advance for your help!
