I'll soon be tiling a couple of small walls in the kitchen. I painted the wallpaper a while ago and got some white, thin paint spots where the tiling is supposed to go. Clumsy of me, but now they're there. I've tried scraping and washing them off, but they're pretty stubborn. Can I tile over it anyway? Will it adhere well enough?

Thanks in advance.

The small amount of paint on the concrete is not a problem.

Thanks for the answer. I thought I'd take the opportunity to ask another question if that's okay.

Do you need to prime concrete walls before applying the tile adhesive?

I've never done that (though I've only tiled on concrete twice, and that was over a countertop). Maybe someone else can share their experience.
