Hello!
I need to buy a new interior door in an old style. Dooria Kungsäter 525 is the only one I find that matches my old panel doors. However, when I read here on Byggahus, it seems Dooria has varying quality on their products. The doors in question are quite expensive, so I'm wondering if it's worth buying these. Does anyone have experience with these doors?

We installed a Kungsäter 1330 front door last autumn and there were no problems with it...

I think those are the kind of doors I have throughout the house, but they were purchased ten years ago... Some doors got small cracks in the frames of the panels after being with me for a while, but I claimed this and got a new door leaf. Otherwise, I have no complaints about the design or function. Unfortunately, this doesn't really say anything about the quality of these doors today.

Now I have received and assembled my doors. The first impression is very solid. However, I managed to buy a soundproof frame, i.e., with a rubber seal. We'll see how it sounds when the construction is complete.

From what I can see, they are whiter than the standard 0502-Y. I think that's good, but I might have to repaint a reveal.

Now it will be exciting to see if they stay nice as well.

Still satisfied with the door?

We have 5 Kungsäter (Dooria today) model 525 in our house from 1969 and are now planning to install one more door. It's cool that the same model is available for purchase 50 years after the house was built.

Oh, was it five years ago that I bought my doors? Where does the time go?

I am super satisfied with the doors I bought. They are as nice and straight as when I bought them.

However, the soundproof frame was not great as you have to push a bit to open and close silently.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, a soundproof frame feels a bit advanced for us. Do you remember what you paid for the door leaf and frame? And where you bought it?

I bought on bygghemma.se 3200 SEK per door and 1500 SEK for the soundproof frame. This was in 2014.

Just bygghemma doesn't seem to have the one we are looking for, model 525.

I got a response from K-Bygg yesterday:
"Swedoor, which has now taken over Dooria/kungsäter, does not make that specific 525 in the kungsäter series. Their craft 05 looks the same, so I'll offer that instead."

3500:- including frame package.
