Installing an exterior door in a barn wall with a plywood sheet beside it for plastering experiments.
Installing an exterior door in the barn and in the hole next to it, I plan to place a board and apply plaster. Can I plaster on an OSB or what should I use? And how thin a layer can I apply? Is 1 cm enough?

Wood moves so the plaster cracks. Additionally, regular plaster doesn't adhere to the panel materials. Can't you close up the hole with leca or bricks?
 
Frame and screw on exterior gypsum board, nail chicken wire over everything + finally apply plaster (about 1cm)

Agree with Joachim. But personally, I would have built with lecablock. //P

As others say, it's not possible to plaster on wood.

During plastering, the plaster hangs on the outside of the wooden wall on a reed mat or chicken wire. The whole setup is attached to the wood substrate with wooden plugs or later nails.
