Hey! I'm in the process of building a built-in wardrobe in the apartment. I've constructed a frame out of wooden studs and then attached an MDF board on the outside for a sleeker look. Now I've reached the doors and have some questions regarding the load-bearing capacity of the hinges.

Could it look like this? Person holding a metal hinge against a wooden frame with a MDF board. The hinge placement is being measured for door installation.

As you can see, it's a 12 mm MDF on top of a 45 mm stud. The MDF and the stud are glued and nailed. My question is simply whether it will be enough with three screws, two will hit mdf/edge while the last one will be mostly wood but some edge? Behind the stud/MDF is the next door so a maximum of 40mm screws can be used.

The door is 198 cm high and 50 cm wide. The plan is to attach three hinges to the door.

Probably won't work as you intended. There are hinges that look different. If you don't want the fittings to be visible for aesthetic reasons, I would check out Blum's hinges and mount them on a renovation plate.
