Can I fill a hole in the wall with plaster mortar?
I have gabla ventilation holes in a wall I want to seal with concrete blocks and mortar. Now it happens that I have a bag of plaster mortar at home. Can I use that mortar to seal the hole? The only requirement is that it should be a "whole" wall. As I understand it, plaster mortar is a bit softer than masonry mortar but since it's only meant to fill the hole and keep the concrete block in place, this should be fine, right?

It's from byggmax.

It says on the website that it can also be used for masonry, but I want to hear what you more experienced people have to say about it.

yes, it's good that it's c-bruk. then you avoid potential cracks if you had used something harder.
make the block/blocks 0.5-1.5 cm smaller than the hole on all sides so you can put mortar around the stone (either on the stone or in the hole) that you're going to wall in, then just go ahead
