Hello!

How do I calculate the height difference if I change the angle from 27 degrees as shown in the image to 20 degrees instead?

  • Diagram of a roof truss showing a 27-degree angle and dimensions in millimeters, including a base length of 2445mm and height of 730mm.
One would preferably have the extended measurement of the forearm to get the outer triangle. But roughly calculating with sine, g1 is just under 161, the height at 20 degrees then becomes 55cm.
