how do you make the slab 20 if it is 15 cm thick on one end and 12 on the other?

I only subtracted things to know how much concrete I would have left to make sure it would be enough... but as you know, I ended up with 1 m3 too little...

but I have worked in the industry and we can adjust prices for the customer so that they only pay for the cubic meter in the form.
then we have to pay for the leftover cubic meter. but at most, it usually ends up being one cubic meter extra

Yes, I understand how you calculated, but then I would end up with a lot of extra concrete... and the deepest measure is in the edge beam, which is 25cmx132m3 = 33m3, but you can't calculate like that...

I wanted the slab to be thicker at the door ends where vehicles drive in, that's why the entire slab "tilts."
 
It also depends on how carefully the crushed rock bed has been prepared underneath the cellplastic. If there are low points, the cellplastic will shape itself accordingly.

been very careful... have scraped with hands under each board to get them as good as possible and then jumped on them... (I think I spent 3 days laying out the bottom layer of foam board)

the crushed stone was 16/32 so there might be a risk that the foam board sinks a little into the crushed stone but never 2 cm!

I had ordered 1.5 m3 more than I calculated, but it was still missing 1 m3, so 2.5 m3 more than calculated,

I think it is reasonable to pay for the extra cubic meter according to the price information I received when I ordered, about 1600, but then there were a bunch of fees for delivering 1 m3 so it was almost 5000 for that m3... :( I will call them tomorrow and see what they say

Unfortunately, that last kubil becomes an emergency measure and then it becomes more expensive.
 
That the cellular plastic would compact itself doesn't seem likely at all. In that case, it's the gravel bed that has compacted, but as you say, 2 cm sounds quite a lot. Most likely, they've simply tricked you out of the leftover cubic meters, although proving this would be very difficult. That the last truck cost 5000 kronor also seems a bit like extortion, depending on how far away you live. Have you received an itemized invoice?

yes, I do understand that it becomes more expensive, but I want to argue that they have brought too little concrete...

a new calculation worst case scenario:
slab 15 cm x 127.8m2 (9x14.2m as the edge elements are 10cm thick) = 19.17m3
edge beam 45.6 meters x 0.1*0.2 = 0.912 m3 (the edge beam is one decimeter in around the entire slab)
the outermost piece, that is the angle of the L-element 46.8 meters x 0.1x0.1 divided by 2 = 0.232m3

in total 20.314m3 then surely 20.5 m3 should be enough!!! because then loads must be subtracted!

Yes, I have received a detailed invoice; there were add-ons, etc., but it ended up between 4000-5000 I can check exactly when I get home... but if I paid for 21.5 m3 but only received 19 m3, then it's fraud!
 
I also find it strange. Either you've missed something in your calculation or you've simply received too little concrete.

I've never bought concrete by truck, but I have bought gravel. Do you really pay per cubic meter? Isn't the truck weighed before and after filling so that you know exactly how many kilos of concrete they pour in? Or how do you know (and how do they know) how many cubic meters are delivered?
 
It happens that the factories don't really have a handle on the recipes so that what the computer measures out doesn't actually become a cubic. They might have the wrong density or have changed the recipe and messed up.

In this case, it's probably more likely that the cell plastic has settled - irregularities and sharp stones keeping it up are pressed into the cell plastic when the concrete weighs down.

Maybe you calculated a bit stingily.
 
I actually reacted to the fact that you used 16-32 macadam on top. I thought the usual practice was to add a few centimeters of 3-5 chips (or similar) to make it easier to level off and to ensure that the surface area of the cell plastic becomes more even.

What was the quality of the cp?
Many people think they are smart and buy a lower (cheaper) quality of cp, but it compresses, 2cm is not at all impossible!

And another thing, if it compresses it becomes thinner, and the insulation ability then also becomes worse!
 
Even if he had used the S80, it wouldn't compress by 2 cm from the weight of the concrete. It's just a matter of doing a rough calculation - he could pour a slab with a thickness of one meter and he'd get a few percent creep deformation - or am I off track?

I couldn't help but calculate it:
The density of concrete is about 2400 kg, permitted long-term load about 1/3 of the compressive strength. 80 kPa x 1/3 = 24 kPa = 24 kN/m2, which is about 2,400 kg/m2, equating to 1 m3 of concrete, and then we're still in the range of creep.

No, those two centimeters are probably due to the slabs sinking into the substrate and the substrate penetrating into the slabs.
