Shop at Byggmax in Kungsbacka quite often... same things there as in all other Byggmax. However, I think there's good order and tidiness in that store.
You probably need to ask the question more specifically about what you actually wonder...?

Have heard a bit about the staff at Byggmax generally being unknowledgeable and perhaps not very friendly, I really appreciate friendly staff in stores. They don't need to help and know everything, as long as they have a friendly approach, they win a lot with me.
But isn't that their business idea and the reason for lower prices?

Exactly, you shouldn't expect to walk into Byggmax and get sensible advice and tips.
For that, you should turn to another hardware store that advertises having this service.
However, all staff in the "sales segment" should always have a cheerful and positive attitude. Surprisingly many seem to have forgotten that.

I think the staff at Byggmax in Kbacka are significantly nicer than my local lumberyard where I am a loyal customer...competence I have no idea about, I never ask store staff for advice...they should, however, be able to tell me where the things I'm looking for are located, and I think they have a good handle on that. The products are completely standard, nothing strange about that... I think I shop there for convenience...
