By chance, I found that, for example, lecablock differ in price depending on which locations you check, has anyone else noticed this?
In Hudiksvall, for example, a lecablock costs 26.90 and in Sundsvall 24.90.

Maybe it has to do with transportation costs. It's not free to move.

and in Härnösand 26.90... then it's 2:- cheaper there in between in Sundsvall
maybe they have a higher turnover rate in Sundsvall and therefore can offer a lower price to the customer

Local competition. Some other hardware store chains are only present in certain locations where Byggmax is established.

It usually states in their brochure that if certain products are sold above a certain limit, they are more expensive.

these are from north to south along the e4

from now on, one will double-check with the nearby ones if buying a larger quantity of something
but maybe most only have 1 nearby byggmax

35:- up here with... and then they're only available in 1 length, so there's a lot of waste if you shop at byggmax
