Byggmax ceiling?
We are currently setting up the roof, and I can say it seems to be excellent! Attractive and good quality!
Highly recommended!

We have now set up about 20 m2 (half the room). It's the first time, so it was a bit tricky in the beginning.
There is råspont on the ceiling, so we screwed directly into it. I believe it's framed 60 underneath.
As far as I can see, there's absolutely no reason to frame 30, it doesn't sag at all. But maybe there are others who know better..

I have installed this ceiling in two rooms and think it's absolutely superb. No ugly fake wood grain nonsense, just smooth nice panels with just the right marking in the tongue and groove. I took a chance and went with cc60 but don't have any insulation or similar on top, hope it stays flat.

Agree with you, absolutely nothing wrong with that!
How long ago did you install the roof?

Okay! Tomorrow we'll set up the remaining 20 kvm
This thread is a bit old, but I thought I'd take the opportunity to ask a question. I've bought this ceiling and was thinking of installing it in the kitchen (just a few square meters).
Just wondering: On the first row, against the wall, do you have the groove or the tongue against the wall? Do you get the next piece on if you screw into the tongue? Sounds tricky. I assumed you were supposed to screw into the tongue so that the screw is covered by the next piece, but maybe I misunderstood. Maybe I should have bought plasterboards instead

I had not against the wall, so that you can screw concealed in the spring
Well, I just tightened the screw just right

Anyone figure out if Moelven Regina is paintable?
Hello,
I just went and bought Byggmax ceiling panels.
I'm wondering about the framing. I'm planning to use 35x45 to lower the ceiling 35mm + the ceiling panels. Perhaps a dumb question, but do I need a frame on the short end of each panel as well?
What screw size should I use when attaching the panels to the frames? Isn't there a risk they might crack or that I can't fit the next panel because of the screw head?
Would something like this with 16mm brads work?

Best regards/Nicklas

Assuming you place spars/studs at 30 cm intervals, then nothing is needed along the short end (aren't there instructions in the packages?).
I have personally installed Swedspan Select on both 45x45 and 28x70. I used a pneumatic stapler with 16 mm staples in the sheet joints and 35 mm brad nails mixed with 32 mm narrow staples at the ends against the wall, where you need to go through the entire sheet.
