Tiles and ceramic tiles can be found at, among others, Castorama and Leroy Merlin. Then, of course, there is a plethora of local stores that are not chains in the same way, so you have to do it the old-fashioned way: drive around and compare.

I was thinking about buying building materials from Poland, including an Ikea kitchen, before I started my renovation. But instead, I ended up doing everything more piecemeal and bought from local shops. But if you know in advance what you need, you can save some. I have been recommended Castorama and Leroy Merlin by a Polish acquaintance.
Thank you, yes I have also heard good things about these 2 stores:)

Bought the kitchen for our apartment at IKEA in Poland, appliances including a cooktop at Media Markt and Euro, and tiles and panels at Obi. All these stores are within a 200m radius of each other in Gdansk, Obi is halfway between the port and the stores, which was nice. thanks for the tips

I saved about 50,000 SEK by shopping there, tiles, grout, etc. are about a third of the price here and the selection is much better in Poland.

I paid for the appliances in advance through a friend who lives there, so it was just a matter of picking them up, you need to check the stock at IKEA before you go, just like at home.

You just have to calculate it... We had rented a smaller truck and took the ferry over there, total cost about 10,000 SEK incl. tickets and cabin for two people. Yes, we got a good profit - just the oven we bought cost nearly 30,000 SEK at Elgiganten, paid 14,000 SEK in Poland
Wow, what kind of stove can cost so much less, how do you handle warranties?

Bosch 8-series, I don't have the exact model number in front of me though. 6-month warranty with gray imports according to their Swedish customer service, personally, I suspect they offer a 1-year European warranty. I felt quite seasoned, based on experience either the stove works as it should for many years, or there's a defect that you discover immediately during installation.

Anyone who can help compare, like a complete kitchen and bathroom, doesn't have to be Ikea..

Unfortunately, the Nynäshamn line is the most expensive to travel, my acquaintances travel to Karlskrona despite the extra 30-40 miles.

A tip if you've never been to Poland is probably to take a regular car there and take a little vacation trip to get acquainted with the stores and check the selection, to later go there and shop.

It's been quite a while since I was there, but back then at most 50% of the staff spoke English, so it was quite tiresome, surely better now.

It's not that nice, driving twice by car, I'd rather have a holiday with a trailer! Otherwise, there will be beer...
