Buy small piece of minerit

Hi, I would need a smaller piece of minerit to place above the wood stove pipe, about 50x50cm would be enough. My hardware store only sells 240x120 which costs over 600 bucks for a 13mm sheet.

Where could one find smaller pieces, I wonder?

It is usually difficult to find small pieces of all types of disc material. If you're lucky, they might have recently broken a disc, so it's lying around, and you can get it for a bit of coffee money. Otherwise, it's to hope that someone here has a piece lying around that would fit. I probably have a few VT minetit pieces lying around myself, but no 50*50.

It's so different, our hardware store cuts pieces of minerit. Maybe because so many don't need a whole sheet? We bought 1 whole and 1 half sheet
Call around to other hardware stores and ask :-/

I have seen square boards of around 120x120 at K-rauta. No idea about the price though unfortunately...
