How long does it take for 40kg of concrete to cure enough to bear a load? It is a foundation cast directly in the ground and will take loads in multiple directions.

Full strength after 28 days at +20. In your case, it depends on the temperature in the ground and how much you plan to load it.

But it is extremely rare that 100% strength is required. 80% is more than enough and then you also have tensile load. I would feel confident after 7 days.

Interesting, I'll have to consider if I can wait 7 days or if I'll become too impatient.
