Building with foam system

Hello everyone,

I can see that foamsystem (and cellplast) has been a bit discussed here in the forum - but is there anyone who has built a house with foamsystem.se and would like to share positive aspects and drawbacks of building such a cellplast house?

How good is the sound insulation in such a house?
How does it feel in windy weather (how stable is the house - since no cement is used in the elements??)

The house we are planning to build is a year-round house and should be made passive (energy-efficient)!

The energy values are not that great, if I remember correctly 93w/m2C. The law is 110w/m2C, passive is under 45. We have 250 mm in walls and 300 mm in the roof. I think they have increased a bit now.

There are a couple of things they didn't tell you before ordering. Ex: styrofoam does not dampen sound! Pests gnaw on it just as much as other materials! !:wow:

Hello again all builders, we have now been promised compensation for all the extra costs we incurred. Everything seems to be working out and we're satisfied with this, now we can recommend Foam System, the house is turning out really well.d^_^b
