Building the last piece up to the supporting beam?

Hi! I have currently supported a load-bearing beam and am going to build a new interior wall out of lecablock. But I'm wondering how I should place the last blocks under the beam so that the wall itself supports the beam? Should I cut the blocks so that I can push them in under the beam for the last bit, or should I use spray foam or concrete or something else to ensure it presses against the beam in the best way? Please help me :) Thanks :)
