Sitting here pondering taking a shopping trip to Gdansk in Poland. I have read through numerous threads about shopping at places like Castorama, Praktiker, etc.

However, I'm a bit unsure if it's possible to find well-known brands like Hans Grohe, Duravit, Laufen, Gebrit, Ideal Standard, etc.

I'm also interested in bathroom furnishings from Ballingslöv, Svedberg, etc. I'm not looking for furnishings in Polish style but am instead looking to save a bit on this trip.

It would also be nice to find stylish/quality tiles and clinker in Poland. From what I understand, most of what is sold at Castorama, Praktiker & Co. is of about the same standard as what is sold at Bauhaus in Sweden; which I don't want. (I know there are some exceptions at Bauhaus).

I would appreciate any help I can get on where to go. I'd be happy to visit the aforementioned stores if the aforementioned brands can be purchased there.

Can't speak for Poland but for Lithuania. The hardware stores there generally have a far better selection of well-known brands than what you can find in Sweden. I saw Grohe in every hardware store I visited.

Tips :: Ideal standard = AmericanStandard.
Renamed to be sold in Europe.
