Hello

How would you experts recommend building interior walls?

Been looking at materials on byggmax.
To best match their door frames, I would like to build them like this:
Gypsum>OSB/Chipboard>Stud 45*45>OSB/Chipboard>Gypsum

Am I being silly then?
How should I do it otherwise?
How is it usually done?

If you use other than 45*45 as a stud, how do you make it match with the door frames?

/Jonas

I wouldn't say I'm an expert, but the most common to use is 45*70, or alternatively 45*95 in load-bearing internal walls. Door frames come in various depths, 118 mm is available and fits well in your situation. :)

No wall will be load-bearing.

Where can you buy those door frames then? Are they available online somewhere?

They are available at all major building supply stores, or they can order them.

They can be found at most building supply stores, they usually ask what karmrtjocklek you need.

Don't forget to put in insulation so you won't need to have a trumma.

...and if there's space/possibility, go with plywood/OSB + drywall or double drywall. Stagger the seams.

Thank you for the answers.

Well, I was thinking about putting in insulation.
And use OSB or chipboard behind the drywall.

But I might change my mind and use 45*70 instead.

I have 45x45 in all my walls original since the house was built, no problems with wobbly walls or anything like that.

45x45 with double boards is no problem! But do not choose 45x45 if there is any risk that there might be a bathroom against the wall in the future.

could be that you have good timber too from the time when the house was built. not fast-growing pine
surely there is a little sway if you start pushing on the wall

Preferably 45x45 studs with osb+gypsum rather than 45x70 and single gypsum. Ideally 45x70 and osb+gypsum. Osb can be replaced with plywood if you feel you have plenty of money.

If you want to buy cheap frames at byggmax, it's easy to cut a small reveal from a piece of mdf or planed pine.
