Considering buying the simplest possible wardrobes from IKEA, then screwing beams to the sides, on which I'll later screw drywall or maybe MDF. Or screw the boards directly onto the frames. (The reason for using beams first is purely aesthetic, to create some volume around the cabinets) Finally, paint the doors the same color as the walls in the room, that's how I want it :-D

Any other tips?

We have screwed together two wardrobes and attached them to the wall without a stud. The baseboards extend outside and we have wainscoting against it. We wallpapered directly onto the wall.

  • Two assembled wardrobes attached to the wall with paneling, next to floor molding and tools scattered on the tiled floor.
