Excuse an amateur and her silly questions... ;) but I thought I'd try to build a "fake wall"/set piece in the bathroom.

What type of board can be used in a wet room without it falling apart after a while? And can you put wall covering directly on such a board without having plaster on top? It seems much easier if I could avoid plaster.

Additionally, it should be (at least) 100 cm wide but I see that many boards are only 90 cm...

Advice and tips are gratefully received! :)

A suggestion might be a fiber cement board, like Masterboard (available in 120 cm width). It is moisture stable.

How did you plan to set up the "wall"?

Another, more "finished" option could be a wet room panel from FIBO-trespo.
