Building birdhouses and raised garden beds from old parquet

I have a bunch of old parquet flooring stored after renovating at home. Now that timber prices are skyrocketing, I'm starting to wonder if I can use the parquet in some construction projects on the property. I would need to build both a duck house for our Muscovy ducks and raised beds for my gardening in the spring. Could that be something, or am I completely off track?

Good idea. Recycling and up-cycling are always good as long as the parquet has some thickness, so it should work excellently. You probably need to paint the outside for it to withstand the weather and wind, of course...
