I have a space with dimensions 215x82x12, and here I would like to install two sliding doors and a wall.

If I build a wall with 45 frame, 12.5 plasterboard and leave a 1cm margin for the doors, the doors will only be 2.5cm.

To me, that feels a bit flimsy, or should I just go ahead? If I want thicker doors and a thinner wall, how do I build a thinner wall? There are some threads about building thin interior walls, but in my case, there is only something to screw into on one side, and that side is uneven brick.

Insulation is not of any interest, and I will build the doors myself.

I plan to finish next week, so I'm open to tips and ideas before I start.

Close-up of a wooden beam supporting a sliding door track, with uneven plastered brick and drywall surrounding it. Wall construction with exposed brick and cement, adjacent to a sliding door frame. Visible unfinished sections and tools nearby. A partially constructed sliding door frame next to a rough brick wall, with exposed insulation and unfinished flooring in a room under renovation. Close-up of a partially constructed wall with exposed bricks and a metal framework, next to a white interior wall and step ladder.
