Building accessories, cheapest in Sweden and import from Poland
Hello!
We are a company focusing on suspended ceilings and are wondering where to buy the following items at the cheapest price:
- Protective clothing: shoes, assembly gloves, pants, etc.
- Quality drills for hammer drills, screwdrivers
- Machines (Laser, hammer drill, screwdriver, etc.)
- Scaffolding (small)
- Tools (Tin snips, measuring tape, saws, clamps, etc.)
I would like recommendations on (preferably those offering bulk discounts):
- Online stores
- Physical stores in Stockholm
I am also wondering if it would be profitable to go over to Poland and shop for maybe 150,000:-?
We have good prices on materials and accessories like screws here in Sweden. The problem is that a lot is bought at Flinks, which is far too expensive.
Thank you in advance.

Building materials in Poland are insanely cheap, take Casorama as an example: Same style as Bauhaus, but prices that are ridiculously low. I've mostly studied "interior items" like bathroom furniture, bathtubs, etc., and flooring materials like stone floors, parquet, etc., but I guess the price level is lower on other things as well. For example, I found exterior doors with frames for around 500kr.... Maybe not the most attractive in the world, but totally fine. Good insulation values too.
Machines from well-known brands are not significantly much cheaper in Poland. But everything manufactured within the country is muuuuch cheaper. I am Polish myself and have made quite a few purchases there over the years. Google a bit through Polish building stores, like castorama, and start counting.
Hi m4x,
Are you still interested in going to Poland to shop for building supplies and other items?
I actually live in Poland and am familiar with the local market, its various goods, and prices.
Get in touch. I am fluent in both Polish (my native language) and Swedish.
Best regards,
Magdalena
