Building a wooden staircase over an existing concrete staircase

I want a wooden staircase instead of the existing concrete staircase that currently serves as the entrance to the house. This one has four steps and is cast in one piece connected to the house's foundation. The simplest way is to leave the concrete staircase and build the new staircase over it. I am unsure how it would work with drainage, i.e., if too much moisture would accumulate and eventually damage the wood. It might be better to remove the concrete staircase (in itself a tricky project that I would prefer to avoid). Does anyone have experience with this?

Jag vill ha en trappa i trä istället för den befintliga betongtrappa som nu utgör entré till huset. Denna har fyra trappsteg och är gjuten i ett stycke som sitter ihop med grunden till huset. Enklast är att låta betongtappan vara kvar och bygga den nya trappan över den. Jag är osäker på hur det isåfall skulle funka med avrinning, dvs om det skulle bli för mycket fukt som samlas och i längden skadar träet. Bättre att isåfall riva bort betongtrappan (i sig ett knepigt projekt som jag helst vill undvika). Någon som har erfarenhet?

Får du inte problem med ytterdörren om du klär in betong trappen, tänker att trappan blir högre.
