I've checked Bauhaus but they were more expensive than IKEA...K-Rauta should be checked

Are you planning to have a landing at the bottom of the U?
What are your thoughts on the material? Planing and gluing together construction timber and then planing it is the cheapest option if you have access to a planer.
It can even be so much cheaper that the purchase of a simpler planer can be justified.
But then it would be pine/spruce, you might have been thinking of something more exclusive...

thanks..No... no landing... wanted it because it would have been much easier but unfortunately the designated space does not allow for a staircase with a landing :@... now it's going to be one with 6 curved steps and 9 straight ones...
