yeah maybe I can go into IKEA and measure the levels of wood glue in the air?

Just when the worst asbestos worries had subsided.

I was planning to build my ventilation fan in MDF, probably won't happen now.

But most of all, I think about the bed I slept in when I was little, for maybe 10 years... It was made of slats and a mattress on top.

The toxins are truly everywhere.

"Formaldehyde is highly irritating to the eyes and respiratory tract. Inhalation can cause coughing, hoarseness, headache, dizziness, chest tightness, and in more severe cases, laryngeal spasm and lung damage. Long-term inhalation can cause respiratory irritation, nasal congestion, and asthma-like breathing difficulties. According to the Swedish Chemicals Agency, formaldehyde is allergenic and carcinogenic."

LOL. I've had constant nasal congestion... which I've always classified as dust mite allergy.

But no paint, just the blank wood-colored anxiety. >We're talking 95->
Must have been packed with this toxic substance...

FUCKING difficult to escape all these perverse toxins for f*...
Sometimes you wonder if your fellow humans are capable of living near you, all they do is put toxins in everything they see.

This kind of thing is just nonsense and I hope you realize that yourself.

Would you drink a liter of lead if you got 1000 SEK?

Would you drink a liter of paint if you got 1000 SEK?

Would you drink a liter of milk if you got 1000 SEK?

Saying such stupid things is definitely not allowed.

I am going to build a "loft furniture" for my children. It consists of a sleeping area (loft bed) and next to it a "balcony," i.e., a small loft you can stand on (if you are 120 cm tall) and a cozy corner underneath...
How is the building going?

Byggmax cheapest pine flooring, or raw boards or plywood (the cheap plywood isn't very nice, better with the kind that is A-classified on one side, available at Hallsö lumber yard). MDF is a dull and lifeless material, but easy to paint and make smooth. If you want a budget feel like IKEA, that's the way to go, but I think solid wood usually feels "cozier". MDF provides the same wood feel as chipboard or laminate.
