Ohh how fun, I remember when I saw that segment on TV! Such an incredibly funny and different idea... I don't know how it went afterwards, unfortunately, but when I saw the segment, the house was up I think...

The family has a website, www.ecorelief.se.
They offer guided tours in the "växthuset" during spring to autumn.

Upping this.

Is there anyone who has more information about constructions like these?

Due to the enormous lack of houses for sale that suit us, we are considering if we should build one anyway.

We have had a few different plans, and what we have concluded is that our home should be "green" and preferably with an old touch.

I'm not looking to live in a lappkåta without electricity, but full standard as cheaply and environmentally friendly as possible.

This house has stuck with me since I first saw it, and it becomes more and more inspiring.

Does anyone know more about the house than what is on the website, or know of other similar constructions?

We are also considering a smaller house connected to a large greenhouse.

Another question is how much it costs to heat a larger model greenhouse, especially in our area (Östersund)

Best regards/

But, like, I don't understand... won't it get humid in there, I thought if they haven't insulated the ground inside, it should be quite high humidity, right??? like it's not good for wooden houses? Or is the ventilation so good that it doesn't occur maybe.

I became really tempted to enclose my entire Västerbottensgård. So you can avoid everything that has to do with painting, window replacement, and other crap!

As I understood it, it might have been another similar construction, so they had problems with too dry air. I personally like the idea. Especially with a true winter garden and not the silliness of a glazed veranda :)

No exactly clear tasty
