Why lightweight concrete, and not lightweight aggregate?
We have no experience with lightweight aggregate, but have built the house with lightweight concrete. Is lightweight aggregate glued or is it built with mortar? It's the mortar process we want to avoid, it's quite fast and easy to glue the lightweight concrete.

Well, I guess building with lightweight concrete is smooth and simple, at least compared to brick... And it's not sensitive to heat...

It will probably be leca after all; there's a first time for everything.
Do you reinforce blocks as thin as 150mm? I assume it's just a reinforcing steel then?
The chimney sweep thought Leca was better than lightweight concrete too.
I need to check with a structural engineer if the leca can handle the weight and the displacement required.
