I would be very happy for tips and brainstorming solutions for a homemade pull-up bar on the terrace. It should be positioned like the red sketch in the image below. It needs to go down a bit; otherwise, we won't reach it. I haven't found any good ready-made product to buy that is completely straight and without padded handles, etc., see the attached example (which is not desired).
I'm thinking of a galvanized round bar with a diameter of 30-40 mm. The beam is 45x170.
A few questions:
1. Where can you find galvanized round bars in such a dimension?
2. How can one make such a solution? Are there any kind of hooks that you can hang the bar from? I don't know which words to use when searching the internet...
I have no possibility of welding anything myself, maybe I can try to get help with it, but that would become a project.
A quick solution would be to have ropes hanging around the beam and hang the bar in the ropes with some kind of stop solution at the ends. A bit trickier to train with such a solution. Otherwise, buy a ready-made wall-mounted one and put it on the beam, then you have to jump up to it. Maybe make steps in the beam to reach up. However, you hit your head if you go all the way up...
Then it is a matter of taste how it should be hung. If you like working with wood, one solution is to attach a pipe as described above to two pieces of 45x95 which you notch out 45x170 at the top end and drill a 34mm hole at the bottom end. Screw the pieces into the beam with large screws and pass the pipe through the holes. Lock the pipe by drilling a 5mm hole through the wood and pipe from one side and insert a screw so it pulls into the wood beyond the pipe.
Brackets or ceiling irons and round bar clamps are otherwise used to attach water pipes when they are used as water pipes. Maybe not the most beautiful solution, but easy to do yourself, easy to adjust, and fairly cheap parts.

With one at each end, you attach the pipe to the bracket or ceiling iron.
The idea is that the round bar clamps should be attached in the round or oval holes on the ceiling iron or brackets. But on the brackets, the holes will probably be in the wrong direction unless you can get hold of shaft brackets (look the same but with the U-profile rotated 90 degrees against the mounting plate). But it's easy to drill new holes in the bottom of the U-profile otherwise.
A more elegant piping solution is to attach the pipe to the beam with two short pipe pieces and threaded elbows. https://www.rinkabyror.se/artikel/galv-vinkel-inv-25/
But this requires you to find someone who can thread pipes for you. The pipes you can buy at Rinkaby, Dahls, and other wholesalers are only threaded at the ends of a six-meter length. If sold cut, they are not threaded at all. Many plumbers and some mechanical workshops can help you thread pipes. Drill holes in the short pipe pieces and screw them to the side of the beam.
So a thousand thanks!! I think we'll go with the wood version, it looks really good. I read a blog that did a similar solution for another stand but I didn't understand how to make it work for this one. Thank you for taking the time with such an explanatory answer. I've recently had twins, so it will take a while before it’s up, but I'll post pictures here later!
