Hello!
We want to build a patio with paving bricks, but this is a completely new area for me and I need a bit of information. There are many colors of brick and plaster around the garden, so it would be nice to have paving bricks with varying colors (red) to unify and pick up. Naturally, this leads you to the more exclusive brick manufacturers' websites and you find the "perfect" brick for the purpose. But not for the budget. I've looked at the options in the "discount stores," but unfortunately, they're not something I fell for.
So, then I started thinking about reused bricks... But how does it really work with bricks on the ground? I assume paving bricks are fired harder? And how would it work with hard-fired brick? Firebrick? We found some old stones (from around 1905) in the basement from the house that we laid as a walkway in the vegetable garden, and they survived the winter that has passed, but I assume there's a little more load on a patio (about 15-20 sqm). Or does anyone know where I can find reused paving bricks in Skåne? Or affordable paving bricks?
Grateful for any answers!
