Used Biltema's Multibond in a joint, which is pretty much the same as Tec7.
The cartridge was opened a couple of years ago, but the remaining material seemed just fine as it should be.
Should it work or does the sealant go bad in the cartridge even if it isn't noticeable?

It can fail in different ways, sometimes they don't dry, sometimes they don't stick, sometimes it can separate in the cartridge even though you can't see it.
So it's often unwise to test if it's gone past the expiration date; it's frustrating to apply a sealant that then doesn't perform as it should because you were being stingy.

Oh okay, now I've applied it at the bottom and then had Tec7 and smoothed on top, and it looks okay at least. It was a rather wide seal so I thought I'd use up what I had left, and the surface had hardened so I could paint over it.
