Bevel MDF in the best way

Hi, I need to install some wall paneling in connection to door trim. Since the trim is not at 90 degrees, I would need to bevel the back edge a bit to get it tight against the trim. Is there any good way to do this without completely tearing it apart when it's MDF?

Router or a regular file...
MDF is considered the best material when processing is required.

I don't have a mill, and using a file sounds like hard work since many need to be beveled, but maybe a small sander with finer paper would work as well?
