What is the best decking screw for outdoor use?

If it's solely from a corrosion standpoint, then it's probably screws made of stainless steel. But if other aspects are also to be considered (e.g., strength), the answer might be different.

Even for strength, stainless steel is good as it is tougher and can effectively accommodate the movement in wood.

Best
Essve acid-resistant A4, in my opinion.

Tough and handles movements in the wood well, good corrosion protection, good Torx.

Negative, among the most expensive to buy. Try to find promotions.

Maybe consider "invisible" decking screws? Like Camo?

Any A4 screw seems to work well, A2 will do too.

I would say the cheapest A4 of brand screw. Have tried both Biltema/Byggmax and Heco, and there is definitely more waste with Biltema/Byggmax....

Heco is probably byggmax?

Well, I've bought them at Jem&Fix... Among others... Jula also has Heco...

I bought heco at byggmax. :)

I think they're quite ok.

By the way, I saw that Heco also released a tool along with screws for "invisible" decking installation. However, they seem to only have C4 screws and not stainless...

Has anyone tried any of these tools where you screw at an angle on the decking? Does it really hold up over time?

Bought at byggmax; is bad

In what way? Granted, I have indeed built fences with mine. But overall, I think it has worked well.

I'm using Gunnebo A4.

I've tested byggmax screws, it's terrifying.
