Beams ceiling?

Hello

What do you think the beams in the picture are made of? They don't feel hollow when tapped, not at all like the gypsum walls.
If they are wooden beams, do you think they can support a 10kg punching bag?

Take a thin drill and "probe" where you plan to hang the sack. That way you'll find out what there is to attach to. I guess it's wooden beams that have been covered with plasterboard to create a "cleaner" ceiling.
