In 2 weeks I will receive the delivery of the roof trusses, I have a recessed steel beam HEA220 where the truss supplier has drawn in that the underframe should be connected with beam hangers. The beam hangers available assume a flange dimension of max 200mm and my beams are 220mm. Has anyone used beam hangers on steel beams larger than 200mm? Tips are welcome.

Ask the manufacturer for a product that meets what they have prescribed. Otherwise, there's a risk that you might be looking for something that doesn't exist. Alternatively, call Essve or Gunnebo and ask if they manufacture according to special measurements.

I have talked to the designer and she was fully aware that there is no finished product. We concluded that it will be LPP. Now I have it in an email from them anyway. :)

Are you going to splice the trusses on site or will they come ready-made?
I have a similar solution on my trusses but with a slightly higher beam, so the truss manufacturer added a local elevation for the notch. Visible at the top right.

My trusses come ready-made (already cut). The beam will be completely recessed in the floor. I have ordered tension bands, and I will bend my own beam straps. :)
