I am in the process of building a machine hall from Lövånger. The only thing not included is the steel beam for support over one of the doors on the long side.
I need to understand what beam I can use; unfortunately, they are on vacation, so I'm seeking answers here. I've tried reading various threads but can't make sense of it.
The width of the door is 3500mm.
The beam can be a maximum of 200mm high.
Snow zone 3 (Timrå)
Width of the building 8.5 meters
Trusses cc1200
What steel beam do I need for it?
According to the image from the door supplier, it looks like a VKR.
I have a VKR 200x100 with 8mm thickness on hand, could it be used?
