Do you think a builder needs to come home and check on-site? Because there seems to be a lack of them in the area!

If the house is not older than that, there are proper drawings (especially a section) and it hasn't been rebuilt, I don't think a home visit is necessary. I thought it was a somewhat older house. I seem to recall that there are plenty of 1920s villas in the area.
