Beadboard on drywall

It depends on how high the panel should be and how straight the boards are, it can vary a little... but generally, a nail might be needed in the middle, though not necessarily in every board.

Hi Tomas,
Can you give a more detailed explanation of how you went about with nails, etc.? I plan to do this in the future but need a bit more info. I am going to put up horizontal paneling from floor to ceiling about 3.5m wide x 2.4m high.

PL600 at the top of each board and nails in cc 60 in the tongue to help hold it in place until the adhesive dries?

If you have something to nail into, there's no reason to glue.
Tomas probably doesn't remember it clearly since it's nearly 10 years since he wrote that post.
Are you going to put up boards or planks?

haha I saw that when I sent the message. It's a wallpapered plaster wall, but there should be studs behind it.
