I have a water damage in the shower, it's the mat that has cracked in the corner to the left. As seen, the floor continues into the adjacent room and the wall is placed in between two joists. There are probably noggings but they are not visible in the picture. I need something to lay the new floorboard on, the wall stud (against the floor) is 45x45 mm. There are only a few millimeters clearance between the bottom of the floor and the drain pipes. I should be able to attach flat bars to the underside of the wall stud to support the new floor, right? If so, I will open the wall enough to drill suitable holes for through bolts. That is what we've considered but maybe there are better suggestions? The alternative is to remove the wall (inner wall) and simply replace the entire floorboard from joist to joist. 600 between the joists. After this, there will be underfloor heating pipes and leveling compound.
