Hello,

Basement wall made of concrete block.

The roads are now old from 1945 and not plastered on the inside.

Due to some unevenness and damage, I would like to build up with 90mm or 95mm Leca on the inside. It will also provide a slightly better insulation value.

Ideally, I would like to mortar the Leca blocks so they are anchored in the concrete block. with joint, concrete, or similar.

Can I do that, and what type of joint/concrete should I use?

Either by applying mortar to each block or leaving 2mm to the concrete block wall and then pouring fluid concrete/cement in between.

Am I thinking completely wrong here? I want to make it into a solid wall, with a bit better insulation value than now. And make it smoother. And be able to groove in electricity in the walls, hence Leca.

I have this idea too, but can't find any advice. Have you made any progress?
