I am building interior walls in my renovation project.

As flooring, I have grooved chipboard panels on which I am building the interior walls. On the chipboard panels, there will then be floor gypsum and then vinyl click flooring.

The walls are 70mm with stone wool insulation, etc., and gypsum.

What should I consider to make the rooms as soundproof as possible?

  • Tracked chipboard flooring setup with unfinished interior walls and doorway; tools and construction materials scattered around on the floor.
If you are looking for extra soundproofing, invest in better soundproofed interior doors that match the inner walls. Don't forget to insulate the ceiling joist, however it looks there.
