Attaching sill with nail plug

Hello
I have just attached my sill to the concrete blocks (built a layer on the garage slab)
the sill timber is 50*125
I used nail plugs of dimension 8mm * 120mm
I think it didn’t turn out so well, in some places the sill is loose,
I will complement with hammer plugs and lag screws.
or if anyone else knows something better?
