Attaching roof trusses to concrete block.

What do you think about casting a crown around with a couple of rebar on the last row instead of buying those hollowed-out leca blocks for casting and attaching roof trusses? I assume those blocks are much more expensive. Then you can adjust the height and if it happens to be unevenly laid. Or how have/would you have done it?

That's exactly what we did on the father-in-law's garage build, we poured a slab about 5 cm on top of the last row of Leca!
