Attaching perforated band in ceiling, for studs
Page 1 of 2
I have set up all the frames to lower the ceiling. But right now everything is just hanging in the frame around the walls. So I need to use strapping to secure the rest. I have learned that you cannot use plastic plugs. But the alternatives do not seem to be easy to find. It is suggested that they are too weak?
But what I have found are these.

Are these the options available and which one is best?
The ceiling is about 3.6x6m. How many fasteners do I need to install?

Yes, the first question is what kind of material the ceiling you are attaching to is made of? .. The second question is why can't you use regular plugs?
How big..? Why not drill directly through the wooden beam and drive the plug through the beam directly into the concrete?S stefand said:
Because the ceiling is not completely horizontal, so in some places, I have a gap between the ceiling and the beam.putte22 said:
The ceiling is 3.6x7m (I wrote it wrong in the first post), and I have used 70x45 beams.
put in some masonite where it gaps. or don't put in plugs/screws fully where it gaps..S stefand said:
Yes, I could do that.
But the question remains, what dimension and how many? =) Because it shouldn't be affected by how I attach the studs, if we consider how much of the screw needs to go into the concrete, and disregard the part that is just in the stud.

I was thinking about this one, which is approved for the ceiling. There are several manufacturers. We use it when mounting a strap from the ceiling. http://www.gunnebofastening.se/produkt/?product_id=748&family_slug=expander-och-plugg. When we hang ceilings from straps, it is plugged on 120x120cc plasterboard, like 90x120cc.S stefand said:
Yes, it was a similar one I linked to in my first post. Does it not need to be deeper than 4 cm?
But I don't quite understand your cc measurements =)
Or should it be interpreted as on the first beam, 120 cm out from the short side, I set 3 plugs with 120cc (the width is 3.6m). Which would give me about 6 beams (the room is 7 meters deep) with 3 plugs on each beam?

We use the 5mm variant depth 30 in concrete.. Well, maybe a bit sloppy.. but when we install the bearing structure for utak, we use the module system where the bearing rails are set at a width of cc120 and they are hung in perforated tape or similar at 120cc or with gypsum 90cc but still 120 width..you can do as you think and screw the "intermediate studs" with angles into the load-bearing studs..
