I'm going to install a cat net on our balcony, which is enclosed with black metal sheets. I plan to glue discreet black loops or hooks to attach the net. It needs to be fairly strong so that it won't give way if the cat decides to climb on the net. Does anyone have tips on
- hooks that can be glued and withstand outdoor conditions
- good adhesive that works on metal outdoors

It might be possible to use caddyklammer?
+ holds strong
- holds strong, leaves marks on metal after removal
- not black, but can be painted

Two metallic caddy clips on a blue surface, featuring mounting holes, used in construction projects.

Reporting back. Now the net is in place with clamps/clasps plus magnets. Works fine! Tip is to use fairly strong magnets, we've noted that even super magnets can slide on painted metal.

  • A safety net is secured on a rooftop using clamps and magnets. Dark metal roof and some pots are visible in the foreground.
