Just about to start installing OSB boards on a stud wall and after installation layers and electrical wiring, the situation now is that there is no horizontal stud at the top of the wall to fasten the board to.

So the OSB board is only fastened to the vertical studs and a nogging in the middle.

After this, it will be drywall, cable routing in conduits, plastering, and moldings.

Can you attach ceiling moldings to drywall/OSB or do you need a horizontal stud behind?

Feels like the board might easily bend inward. Why not add a cross brace at the top to be sure?

Sigh, two against one. It happened on the first board, had to jigsaw a bit so the electrical pipes would fit. You noticed that the OSB buckled when the screws at the top were tightened, so a support was definitely needed at the top.

So now it's time to bring out the miter saw for the rest of the construction.

If you have a cc60 frame, it's easy to install the ceiling molding just in the OSB.

Crown molding can be attached to just OSB, but the OSB should be screwed on all sides!

To be correct, it should be screwed all around, but that it would buckle inward when you attach a 13 gips, you will never notice.
