Working on a project at home where I am going to build a small extension of 6 square meters, a hall.
Building it on an old wall where a previous porch used to be, which is sturdy. I am now securing the rear support beam for the floor joists to the house foundation. I tried drilling and attached the beam with 8x120 nail plugs, which went smoothly and feels stable, but I am doubtful if it's enough.
Should I anchor it better, do you think?
Is using nail plugs the right way to go?

Grateful for answers!

Best regards, Tim
