Hi forum.
I am going to extend a wall by about 600mm and I'm a bit unsure about how to attach the wall to the floor. Casted base plate with underfloor heating and tiles. The questions
1 Is it okay to glue the bottom plate to the tiles or could there be problems?
2 If I decide to cut grooves in the tiles and glue to the base plate, what is the best way to cut?
Grateful for the forum's tips and advice.

Yes, the floor heating which is supposed to be 100mm below the surface, but it might have floated up. Maybe being a bit too cautious.S Sernando said:
Don't you think it's enough to glue it? There is no load on the wall except if someone might accidentally fall into it.
Glue on the tiles and brace it so it presses slightly against the ceiling. There are threads where silicone is recommended if you want the option to dismantle.
Double-sided tape on the floor is probably quite common when installing a partition wall on top of a parquet floor. Easier to remove tape residues than glue residues on the day the wall needs to be taken down?
