Hello builders!
I live in a small studio apartment built in 1912 in Stockholm. It's quite small, so I want to install a loft bed and would prefer to avoid support poles down to the floor. The problem is that the wall is very porous, and I'm not entirely sure about the condition of the ceiling.
I asked my board and received the following response:
"Regarding your question about the ceiling.
I brought up your question at our latest board meeting, didn't get a very clear answer except that the ceiling consists of wood and reeds. Many of the ceilings in the association are not in the best condition as the plastering is coming loose and falling down in parts."
So it seems to be some kind of lattice ceiling. Does anyone know what it's like to fasten screws in such a ceiling and how much it can hold?
Right now, there's also a nice false ceiling that I would prefer not to drill holes in and risk damaging unnecessarily. Primarily, I'm looking for mounting possibilities/weight capacity.
Grateful for any advice.

if you can just find where the floor beams in the ceiling above are, you'll have a good attachment point. If the bed is going to be in a corner, I would have at least had posts along the walls but maybe managed to solve the post in the room with bracing against the floor beams. I'm guessing you have lath board under the beams, then reed mats and lime plaster.
