Just had a company remove an existing exhaust air heat pump. I then discovered that when they laid tiles in the laundry room, they did it on the existing vinyl flooring. This was done without removing the heat pump, so they've laid tiles around the feet. I know it's not approved to lay tiles on vinyl flooring, but I'm not going to tear down the whole laundry room right now. Is there something reasonable to glue a few tiles? Something that adheres to vinyl flooring. Hoping to avoid mixing adhesive just to replace 4 tiles. Grateful for a quick response!

Not approved by whom? For a number of years, it was very common to lay ceramics on the plastic mat, but not anymore. All cement-based products are alkaline and can negatively affect, for example, certain plastic mats, but this was not known then. Mixing some fix from Biltema for 79,90 isn't expensive or complicated. Otherwise, there is ready-mixed tile adhesive, like Casco easypro 1L for about 140kr.
Assumed that the same wet room regulations apply in the laundry room as in the bathroom.G OMathson said:Not approved by whom? Found something similar at Bauhaus: https://www.bauhaus.se/kiilto-kerafix-kakellim-1-l
Or Biltema: https://www.biltema.se/bygg/kakling/fastmassa/fastmassa-la-315-5-kg-2000047603
There are waterproof mats approved for installing tiles and slabs on.
